Shoebox Archivist In development

Shoebox infers dates for scanned family photos from many weak signals: handwriting on the back, burned-in camera date stamps, age notes combined with birth dates, and more. It fuses them into a single estimate with an uncertainty range, lets you review and fix it in a web tool, and writes the result into copies of the scans.

Everything runs on local models, so your photos never leave your machine. It’s a personal project for now and the source isn’t public.
